    About DLED7 Lights

When dedolight set out to build true focusing LED light heads capable of competing with the legacy of the classic 150W DLH4 series, it was no small task. Creating a unit nearly equal in size, with similar output, and without a massive housing or bulky focusing mechanism felt like a goliath of an engineering challenge. But the DLED4 was born—and in its natural evolution came the DLED7 series.

An all-around engineering marvel, the DLED7 offers a focusing range of 60°–6° (1:20 light ratio) right out of the box. This is the bi-color version (2700K–6700K) with the DMX DT7-BI ballast. All accessories for the classic 150W DLH4 are compatible with this light, making it a seamless lateral move into bi-color LED. Today, it stands as the new classic—an innovative fixture in a class of its own.

    About the Beam Intensifier

This DPBA-714 Parallel Beam Intensifier increases light output up to from 178% to 573% (and beyond), depending on the light model. Simply used by sliding in at the light's accessory slot and adjusting to the flood position; the new beam generated by this lens can be from 4° - 10° spread angles, depending on light model used. Parallel Beam Intensifiers make using multiple cinema reflectors from one light source possible, as well as establishes a controlled virtual light source from the reflecting surface. dedolights with Parallel Beam Intensifiers completely bring cinema reflectors to life in a systematic way with undeniably beautiful results.

    About Projectors

This complete projection kit is a perfect partner to any M-size kit rental. It has the ability to adapt to so many different creative lighting scenarios bit it huge budget closeups to documentary-style interviews. If you are in need of focal spot units that don't have chromatic aberrations, color fringing, and fuzzy edges then this is the system for you. The DP1.2 Universal Imager/Projector fits in the accessory slot (barn-doors slot) of any M-size lights. Dedolight added a key-stoning correction knob to this classic projector to adjust the image plane when the light is set at an angle. Just like its predecessor (DP1.1), the DP1.2 has a universal slot imager compatible with "M" size gobos (with the DPGH gobo holder), the DPIR 8-Leaf Iris and the DPFS loose framing leaves for occasional shutter-work.

The DP2.2 (update to the DP2.1 unit) has four shutter blades integrated within the projector to quickly and easily cut and hold perfect four-sided shapes. This projector is updated with a key-stoning knob to adjust the focusing plane when the light is set at an angle. It is yet another invaluable and exclusive system for any style of production, and in particular a must-have tool for tabletop work. This highly precise projector is designed to light an area as small as a match head, or as thin as a razor cut, without any chromatic aberration and without losing any color, while keeping perfect resolution of shapes and edges.

Both units can add the DPEYESET edge softening kit. Use the edge softeners to dispurt the fine edging of light shapes into a much more natural fall-off while holding the scope and shape of the light beam (does not disrupt light shapes like light frost or hapshire paper acan tend to do).

    Features

    • Perfect Resolution: Razor-sharp edges with precise focus control. Use the keystoning knob to maintain sharpness across angled surfaces.
    • Perfect Light & Shadow: No chromatic aberrations—get clean light and crisp shadows without soft focus tricks.
    • Simple Controls: Pull the lens for soft focus or use the DPEYESET for edge softening. Light anything from a match head to a full subject.
    • Quick Application: Installs in seconds—just slide into the barndoor slot. No tools required.
    • Save Time: Set up fast and shape light with laser-like accuracy in seconds.
    • Change Lenses: Lens tightening knob allows for quick lens swaps and image scaling.
    • Keystone Control: Adjust image plane angle up to 10° for enhanced focus control.

    About DLWAR

Take your focusing range and exit angle off the charts by dropping this aspheric wide-angle lens in front of your Classic DLH4, DLHM4-300, DLH200, DLED4, DLED7 model heads.

Traditionally, small fresnel studio lights offer a focus range of roughly 1:3. Some larger studio fixtures can reach ratios of 1:6. Dedolights deliver an insane native focusing range of 1:25. This ratio refers to the change in light intensity when focusing from flood to spot. At the same time, the beam angle varies infinitely between 50° and 4.5°.  Drop-in fixed lens systems have little flexibility, are time consuming and under-perform Dedolights optics in all aspects. Add the DLWAR wide-angle lens attachment, and the focusing range of your dedolight becomes an astonishing 1:55 ratio.  The beam angle of exit is now continuous from 90° to 50°.  The native light along with the DLWAR wide angle adapter delivers an adjustable angle of exit from 90° to 4.. Camera zooms of course offer similar ranges, but nobody has ever built anything like it for a lighting instrument.

In addition, the attached barn-door with rotating leaves gives the ability to cut trapezoidal shapes that cannot be obtained otherwise. For example, light from any angle and project a square beam by cutting a trapezoid with the doors (see images).

    About DWAFX

This filter fits in the accessories slot at the front of your M size light heads. It warps the circular shape of the beam into an anamorphic shape with remarkable homogenous and even spread. Quite simply, you can make a "strip" or "line" of light by using this filter with varying widths depending on the focusing setting of your dedolight in mere seconds.
